Definitely. And even if those two are in the "next grouping", they're two of a few and I don't see them at the top for various reasons.
They also said that there is a rumor that he isn't thrilled with the players we have and that is making him hesitate a little.

I would think that's a rumor. We are asking the next coach to change the results by changing the culture, so changing the roster (which has and continues to happen) is part of the equation anyways.
