Regardless of what you think about CTS, those were some classy goddamn comments. Said he found out Friday morning and decided to keep it in so the guys could focus on SJSU. Said it hurt but he just had to "cowboy up and put his boots back on". Said he talked to the players about it for "all of about 45 seconds...and then got right to talking about UNR."

Again, regardless of what you thought about his coaching ability, the dude has a great attitude and has done more for UNLV football in terms of fundraising and facilities upgrades than any other football coach in UNLV history COMBINED.

I've been vocal about thinking a change was probably needed, but he's been a great ambassador for the University.

He's a class act.
