Hawaii and San Jose are just ahead of us with New Mexico well behind us. Still a chance for a win or two if we can get a healthy QB and some defensive backfield play.

Start of the year I questioned moving Windom from DE to ILB.

He's been fantastic at his new spot..No question.

But it feels like we miss him coming off edge rushing the passer...

Secondary play hasn't been great. Some added pass rush would probably help..

I thought Plant and Arizona transfer would be contributing more..

The defense as a whole has been getting better. They bleed too many yards still, but they aren't getting manhandled like years past.

mark this down, best winless team in college football BAR NONE!!!

And even better than 1, 6 win team a couple 3 win teams and a few 2 win teams according the ESPN from a power index standpoint! Smh

Hey, on a typical year, if you told me that we had a better football team than the U. of Arizona, I'd be more than happy with that. 😂

The results of this season have been tough. Going into the year, with a 1.5 win total, you would not think we'd be as competitive as we've shown. 4 losses so far by 8 points or less. We've been in all of our games with the exception of the two we were never going to have a chance (ASU and ISU). To not take advantage of any of those opportunities is disappointing and I'm sure the players are especially feeling it.

Even if we were able to capitalize on two of the four close losses, we'd have a decent shot at getting to 5-6 wins on the year based on the remaining schedule. That would be exceeding expectations by far, but here we are, 0-6 instead.

I thought they were pretty competitive in the ASU game until Brumfield went down.

Figure if he plays whole game that result is probably a little closer..

Agree with you. They've been in most of these games. They are close...

No doubt! A win in the first game would have also provided the confidence that they could have used in the four close games to win instead of lose at the end.

The remaining Sanchez LBs have dropped on the depth chart... Saturday Viramontes did not participate for the first time this season, Farrell Hester II has not participated since the Iowa St game, and Malakai Salu did not participate Saturday and has participated in only two games this season.

The real surprise among the CTS holdover LBs has been Austin Ajiake, who had a total of 26 tackles his first three seasons, and many were on special teams.

Back when practices were open Ajiake always popped. Injuries I believe derailed him.
