Really is a downer.

I wasn't as high as some coming into the season.

I thought for any bowl chances there was little room for error. They would need some breaks.

I did think they would be more competitive though...

ESPN power rankings actually show 11 teams (Nationally) worse than us and Reno is one of them.

I'd gladly trade them power ranking for a 3-2 record and a P5 win..

I hear ya.

You know we are in a bad spot when we are discussing rankings where only 11 of 130 odd teams are ranked lower. But because one is our rival we find small victories..

Maybe some year will finally be that mythical 'next year' we keep hearing about and we turn the corner..
