After 11 MWC games Tervell Beck leads the team in points gained Vs the opposition per 40 minutes and it isn’t close. He is +10.2 and the next closest is +6.8 with the leading current starter (Kris Clyburn) at +0.9 and the least effective starter (Joel Ntambwe)) at -8.2. Additionally many of Beck’s minutes came while playing completely out of position at center.

Beck not playing for reasons unknown, is one of the big reasons we are where we are. He is one if our best inside scorers which is the biggest weak link we have. For crying out loud, we yes UNLV and we are struggling with Air Force and Colorado St and Wyoming and Valpo and Loyola at HOME no less. C’mon man...

I wonder if the staff looks at stats like this when they're looking for ways to improve the team's chances on the court.

It’s such a common stat, I’m betting they do. But don’t know that they’re relying upon it much for actual minutes given otherwise Beck plays a lot more.
Yeah well if I’m the coach he would have been a starter all year long. His confidence has been destroyed. Good kid and good teammate.

I love Beck. Reminds me of Sam Perkins. Crafty footwork, good court vision, a knack for getting the ball inside the orange hoop...just for some reason, he makes boneheaded plays sometimes. And oh yeah, suspect defense.

Beck is very much a Juiston type of player. When Shakur went down Beck should have move right into those minutes. For whatever reason he is on Marv's S-List. Once on that list you don't come off without the coach being forced into it via injuries. I could see Beck as being a transfer candidate. He'd get significant PT at many many schools.
