Looking at video and pictures from the conference I wasn't sure how many players - especially starters, that were actually in attendance. Didn't see a number of faces I would like to see, but maybe I just didn't get a 'good angle'. It's going to be interesting, but I do feel we have some quality talent that needs to be developed... I also believe this coach and … potential staff can bring in some serious talent.

My dream right now would be to pull some of the local talent away from prior outside commitments to staying home!... long shot, but a man can dream

I think there should be good retention of players.

Always some attrition every year.

Grades, transfers, etc...

Offense loses Acosta, Woods, Polu and a couple others, but a lot of guys return.

Woods graduates, but Presley should return from injury so a wash. Jenkins the freshman could be dynamic.

Matt Brayton moved all over the OLine played well. Probably moves back inside after finishing the year at LT. Caldwell should be back, so that limits the loss of Polu some and he's pretty versatile.

That absolutely should be the strategy. Win over local high School coaches and make unlv an option for big time players that would otherwise head out of state. We're in a pretty good geographic location as Las Vegas produces a lot of talent as does Arizona and southern California.

also keep a eye on transfers out of orgeon

Brenden Schooler 3 star wr out of high school

Kahlef Hailassie 3 star cb out of high school

Adam Stack 3 star kicker out of high school

I think that's a viable thing to try. Especially with the new stadium... keeping kids home SHOULD be easier than before.
