+3 for being at home. As distasteful as it is, it would be beneficial for you to win this contest. It's time you deadbeats earned your keep. Your basketball team stinks.

I've largely been ignoring reno this year, since all of my hate has gone towards sdsu and Boise. You should be on the same boat as us. They tried to leave you behind. You're welcome we said no and decided to stick with the MW, otherwise they might be dead on arrival for 2026. With that said, lets talk about carrying weight and budgets.

I don't know how much reno spent for football this year, but last year it was $13.2m for a 2-10 season. So if we're going off of last year's numbers, your institution spent at least $13.2m to have a losing record of 3-10, and a 0-7 conference record. I guess that extra win counts as an improvement. On top of that, you're still on the hook for 3 years at $1m for Ken Wilson's buy out. I know he joined TCU and his salary is going to offset, but that goes out the window if he gets fired again.

This is per your Chris Murray and your RGJ:

"(UNR) outspent UNLV in eight of (sports), including the more high-profile sports of men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball, although Rebels football jumped ahead of Wolf Pack football in budget in FY23. Despite this increased per-sport investment, if only moderate in some cases, UNLV has won nine of the 12 Silver State Series all-sport competitions against (UNR), including this year's trophy (2023)."

For the Nevada series trophy:

UNLV wins (21 points)

Football
(45-27);women's soccer (1-0 win); women's swim and dive (won regular-season and conference); women's basketball (wins of 92-47 and 98-67); women's indoor track and field (UNLV sixth, (UNR) seventh); women's tennis (won regular-season and conference); women's golf (UNLV second, (UNR) fifth)

(UNR) wins (15 points)

Women's cross country
((UNR) eighth, UNLV 10th); men's basketball (wins of 69-66 and 75-65); men's tennis (4-3); men's golf ((UNR)fifth, UNLV seventh); women's outdoor track and field ((UNR)fourth; UNLV seventh)

You have no argument from me on the state of our men's basketball team.

@wolfgang jayn Reno. That is all.

Anyone who comes on a football message board and brings up basketball is out of ammo.

Anyone who comes on a message board when their college team of choice is Reno compared to Las Vegas, already has 1 foot in the grave.

Tell me what’s great about Reno without bringing up Tahoe and something Vegas doesn’t do better.

Your city sucks; your university agrees which is why they have abandoned it for Nevada. We have a better school. I mean….

Reno got us in Men's Golf? This an atrocity. Whoever replaced Knight should be ashamed.

Be nice if you guys weren't such trash at football that UNLV will likely get penalized in the CFP rankings because Rebs only beat you by 24.

The cannon is red
Wolfie is blue
Reno football is dead
Barry Odom still owns you

Nobody seemed to get the Dan Swanky's reference and that is a major bummer.
