G5 fan here from MTSU(if that matters). Coming into town Nov 15th weekend and going to the SDSU game. been following UNLV all season bc of this and it has been fun see the success y'all have had. My question is what's there to do pregame by the stadium, any tailgating areas etc. looks like WSKY is the only bar/restaurant by stadium. bringing a friend from New Zealand and its his first college football game. Any info/help would be appreciated. Always down to talk some football. thanks

Well it just so happens directly across from WSKY is J-LOT parking where my group tailgates. Feel free to stop by. Can't help you with any parking but there will be plenty of food and beverages. When game gets closer I'll give you better details of where we tailgate exactly.

Interesting. Was discussing them a bit in another thread when all this realignment with the PAC blew up.
I floated the idea that MWC should look at adding WKU and possibly MTSU or La Tech to entice Liberty by giving them travel partners.
MWC currently looking at NIU and or Toledo.

Assuming there’s only one MTSU, met a girl from there many years back when we played in the NCAAT in Nashville. Those southern girls …. They’re just different. In a really, really good way.
I usually tailgate at the Crazy Horse 3. It's a short walk. I recommend the wings and Destiny.
Definitely hit Bull's tailgate. If for nothing but the Guinness beer. So cool that a fan of MTSU is coming to a UNLV game.

We need hundreds of thousands of new out of town fans so that UNLV football gets the type of following that will make them desirable for big network games.

Im excited boys, thanks for the invite and will definitely reach out. Alysha Clark is a big sports alum, women's basketball is by far our best and most loved sport. The amount of country artists who have ties to MTSU is too long to list, our recording program is one of the tops in nation. As far as crazy horse goes, big girls need love too. I'll make sure to bring some nice Tennessee whisky.....
Delicious but The only place I’ve ever eaten bacon wrapped hotdogs is from food carts in Tijuana.

So that’s what we were told they were - but it could have been anything.
Never! When in Mexico on Spring break my brother ate a bacon wrapped hotdog. He asked if I wanted one, and I said no way in hell. That night he was sick as a Mexican dog after it had been kicked around for a little while!
Yeah I will never touch those Mexican food carts. A friend of mine got shrimp taco from one once and he had contractions like he was in labor afterwards.
I've eaten from food carts all over the world. Never a problem. If it looks good - make sure it's hot off the grill then eat it. Never a problem. Life's too short to avoid new food.
That’s the key, have enough alcohol in you to fend off anything that our gringo GI tracts can’t fend off without. I’ve never gotten sick from a TJ hotdog.

I’m going back to youth when this happened, 16-20 or so.
Yeah Tijuana was great before I turned 21, once I turned 21 I didn’t need the ability to go to bars and clubs that I couldn’t in the US at least legally. I think I was 16 the first time I got kicked out of a bar. First bar fight was in Tijuana with some Navy dude running his mouth. Donkey show.. actually that part isn’t true but I met some guy that swears he went to one.
Now I go to Tijuana to soccer games which are great, they play in the top Mexican league so it’s like going to a major college football game atmosphere wise. There are also a ton of great restaurants, bars ( not those on Revolution) and a good craft beer scene. A completely different experience than when I was a kid.
TJ. In the 90’s my wife and I crossed at the border and got a cab. The cabbie took us about half way when two cop cars rammed him off the road. They forced him out of the car and proceded to beat the crap out of him and haul him away. All the time we are in the back seat watching.

I was only there once and never went to one but this guy tried to get us into a bar that he said was a donkey show. Didn’t want to find out if he was telling the truth.
