Memphis and FAU (both more attractive than we are) have openings and will get the pick of the litter in terms of guys who want to become HCs at non-P5 programs.
This delay baffles me. Why announce the opening weeks ago if you aren’t going to act quickly? Florida State hiring Memphis’ HC was announced right after Memphis’ game tonight.
If we didn’t want to act quickly let Sanchez still recruit to the program, especially since he’s still earning a paycheck. He seems to be doing well as far as making guys interested.
