Older games on VHS

Hey guys, just piggybacking on the post from below...My dad had about 50-60 old games on VHS, mostly from the glory years, but goes back to the '77 USF game.
I have been geeking out watching what is out there on youtube--what's the easiest way to get them onto there? Or do you think I should/worth it? Is there some kind of legal stuff to worry about in terms of copyright etc?
