5-0 Sox bottom of the 4th. Sox coming up with Arroyo then SchwabberIf the Sox can get by the Rays I'll be shocked. Rays won regular season series 11-8, but it seemed every time I looked the Rays were spanking them again. They may have the series lead, but the Sox can't afford any of their well-known slumps to creep into this series.
Game 2 looks a little too easy. Game 3 is critical. It will break Houston for good if they don’t watch outThat TB series was a shocker for me. Didn't think Boston would get by them. They had even less luck against the Astros during the season. The Sox will need to figure out Valdez while, at the same time, getting good outings from Sale. Both will likely get two starts this series. Houston has some dangerous hitters, also. Boston needs to be able to keep up or they can find themselves in deep holes early in games. Everybody hates the 'Stros because of the sign-stealing scandal a few years ago but, make no mistake, they're a very good team that loves the bright lights. If Boston is gonna win this series, Bogaerts will have to lead the way. Because I'm a lifelong fan, and because they showed they've got something cookin' in the TB series, I'm gonna say Sox in six.
Bottom of the 2nd and the Red Sox is up by 6-0. This is getting ugly.Losting McCullers for this series will hurt Astros. They really don't have an "Ace" starter, but McCullers had been playing like one reacently and against the White Sox.
Could be an interesting series, a lot of offensive potential. Red Sox are hot and Kike is just on another level right now. Tonight's game will be interesting. The Astros were the best road team in the AL, so don't think the evironment will shake them.
Quite, little surprise how subdued the Sox were. Evoldi didn’t helpI thought last night was quite attractive myself. 😎
A lot of talk that the Astros may have been tipping pitches. Apparently they spent a lot of time on self anaylsis to clean some tells up. Who knows.
But it is becoming a quite good series.
