No real news, sorry guys.

... I've maintained since November that I think he's done. I've believed it the entire time. And that has not changed and it won't take long.

... Credit to this team. They played hard all year long. They really did. Rarely played well but they went hard and didn't cave. MM's first two teams flat out quit on him. Not this team, they were focused, some freshman fatigue I expect hurt some things, but they went hard. Still, when a team goes hard and you have chemistry, you usually win. We didn't. That's concerning.

... Cofield's radio show, didn't hear it all, only bits and pieces in the car. Too many phone calls and texts and I had to pull over a number of times. What I did hear wasn't mean or nasty, but it was forceful and direct. And negative. That's why I've always said, pay attention to the board temperament, once again, it was a strong barometer. Many on this board were there three months before these people arrived today.

... Learned some things, you believe who or what you want. In general, be careful with our media - they're not as important as they want to think but they spend lots of time trying to paint shit that isn't true. Not all media, beat writers exempt for the most part.

... UNLV had a few more fans than SDSU, but our fans aren't into it all. SDSU's were. For teams that were decently represented, UNLV fans were the most sullen during game time.

... They played hard today and coulda, shoulda, woulda won. Hate that we fell apart with stupidity at the end, hate that Noah and Cly went out like this. I thought they gave us a solid year. Noah turned out to be a good leader, took the blame for a lot of stuff that wasn't his fault, even though he had plenty of mistakes.

... If things don't transpire quickly, something went wrong. Doesn't mean you can't move on to next in line.... but if things go as people want, this entire thing should move quickly.

... It's come to my attention that sometimes I should signify some of my information as factual "as I know it to be" as opposed to having it come across as opinion. I'll work on that. I figured everyone was able to read between my lines and my subtle and sometimes not so subtle hints that there was a lot of smoke and to expect a dismissal... I argued with many about things along those lines. I should have better explained. My bad.

... I hope USU wins out.

...I've said it at least a dozen times in the past couple of years, but this time I think I mean it. That was the ugliest friggin game I've ever seen.

... Mentioned this in a post below. People were nervous about BSU/UNR. And it hammered home why Rice was fired mid-season. Nobody thought this team had a chance to win the MWCT ... but nobody expected that the road might be unusually easy... unsettled a lot of people for an hour or so.

UNLV can screw this thing. Please add that onto any single move made by the university. But I don't think they will. As I know it, the bozos that used puppet strings and donated tiny cash and still had a say - those morons have been minimized by real dollars. And that's a great thing. We don't need egomaniacal, knee jerk tiny donors directing traffic. They had their chance and they cost the basketball program AT LEAST 3.5 years and a shitload of money and even more goodwill. Incredibly damaging. I hope they never get another say.
