I am in alliance with Rebelluver - Karl knows more about coaching basketball then Lavin, Augmon and Miller combined. There is a very good reason Lavin is working for Fox. And how do you figure Miller and Augmon salvage anything - were you not around the last few years?
This blows me away. It is a no brainer.
Where are we right now? You don't think we could do worse than a former NBA coach of the year?
Especially after watching what Mussleman is doing at UNR in a short time, this is worth the risk.
He is old, that is the only downside here. We could squeeze 3 years out of him and then hopefully we aren't such a mess and a good coach will actually want to be here.

If George Karl wants the job, he gets it. I agree that's a no brainier.
I could totally see him bringing Stacey and Miller back too.... which in my opinion would be awesome.
