Road game, crowd became rowdy, Cincy threw some good shots and knocked UNLV back. They didn’t fold. We are just undermanned and we don’t have a system that’s is going to get us anything more than freewheeling shots. Yeah, I have an issue with that part, but we’ve seen it and it’s not going to change. Hardy really struggled, Long kept us afloat. It’s not the prettiest basketball, nor the smartest.
I did not like that a team like Cincy got some easies on the fast break and we didn’t. And of course, not happy we lost. Maybe the win over UNR made this loss a bit easier.
No, I don’t think the team will grow to the point where they are “just fine”. I think they’ll get better, but it’s not going to lead to anything of substance, IMO.
