Watch, Beard is going to back out and we're going to end up with Marvin Menzies and probably end up paying him $1.5 million because he knows no one else will take the job. If it's a choice between Menzies and Beard there is a no choice. This should have been done yesterday.

Maybe they need to suck it up and give Augmon the job so the fan base won't freak out since nobody actually wants the damn job except what fans here consider "clowns". Give him a run and by then there will be a more competent AD in place and if the experience doesn't work then the process will be handled better next time. I hope.

In 11 seasons Lavin has been to the tourney 8 times with 5 Sweet 16s and 1 Elite 8...if any coach in the last 11 years would have done something like that at UNLV we would be in all our glory, but to some on this board he don't deserve a shot but a guy that has 1 year head coaching at division 1 should be our guy. Proof is in the pudding, Lavin is a proven winner and will lead this team back

It is strange that with all the jobs that opened up except San Francisco there hasn't been a mention of Lavin though. Doesn't that seem a little odd.

guess he is good enough for vandy but not unlv...that makes alot sense
