Wow, I wonder what the issue was. I really liked Savon, and hope that he keeps his head on straight. He has the chance to be really good if he can stay out of trouble.

Nevada, Las Vegas by 30. Cornish breaks out of his slump and goes for 5 three pointers

Zim has 20 and 15

Patty has a triple double and dunks 3 times lol

Morgan fouls out in the 1st 10 mins.

Ike get to the foul line 15 times. Another bull in the china Shop game driving the middle.

Carter is Carter

Hurley runs on the court and tries to trip Derrick right before his 3rd lift off from the foul line, but
Derrick does a 360 flip and shatters the glass at the buzzer for the final 2 point victory and REBS WIN BY 30 103-73

Dave and Stacey just look at each other when the horn sounds and smile.

:chairshot: :flush:

Although I certainly wish him no ill will, I can't say that I'll miss Goodman out there. I was kind of dreading his return to the T&M.

Whatever his "issues" may be, I hope he resolves them and goes on to a stellar college career. After all, he was a Rebel...

This is very disappointing news. I wanted the guys to play ASU at full strength. Now I could do with seeing them play a depleted Zona squad.

You will. No Smith or Czewsk...maybe no Allen and a banged up Gabe York. The Wildcats are one of the most injured teams in college basketball.

Also, I've never understood the "I wanted them at full strength" nonsense. I want to win. Injuries are part of the game. If we win and some of their players are injured Big eff'n deal. Win....that's the goal.

Everything, to me, is focused on doing well in the conference and winning the conference tourney. OOC success is icing on the cake when it comes seeding time. The better the competition a group like this one faces, the better prepared they will be for battle in MWC. This can't be said about dysfunctional teams like last year's imo, but I sincerely believe this team will grow from playing the best opponents possible. Incidentally, I believe this team would have beaten ASU with Savon starting, but we will unfortunately never find out.

If ASU DOES beat us, Joe has conveniently arranged to shut down the site for maintenance during what would be the ensuing meltdown. :)

Yeah, this is true. I posted on this in another thread. But I pretty sure this AZ team is deep with talent. It would be sweet to leave with a W and blow their 44 home win deal to bits

WOW... you guys were all clueless on your predictions...

why don't you predict where Rice will be coaching next year?

Well hell man, if you knew what was going to happen why didn't you tell everybody and we can make some money.
