Need SDSU to beat Fresno and put some breathing room between us for 5th place. We’re not gonna catch the four above us.
Beginning to hear commentators talk about the job CKK is doing with a team of transfers. He’s beginning to turn heads and the positive accolades coming with it may help propel the program forward and attract higher level recruits.
BTW, I loved CKK’s anger early in the game with the charging call on Nuga. Showed his intensity and how hard he fights for his players. More and more I think CKK is the real deal. Will have growing pains no doubt, but I think he will take this program where we want to go if given time.

These can be minimized if he adds 2 players to next year‘s team who can create off the dribble and shoot between 35-40% from the 3pt line to go with Williams then the growing pains thing will be greatly reduced!
My memory is pretty bad these days, but I can’t recall a bigger beatdown for the full 40 minutes than this game tonight..
I know the recruiting looks sparse with just KyeRon Lindsay signed but I think CKK will score a lot of talent on the transfer portal. Having WIlliams and Hamm from Texas do well will pay dividends in attracting other talented but underutilized players from P5 teams.
This isn’t 2020 anymore. Recruit the best available from the HS level and then go get proven solid mature transfers. They are available.

Bryce was well prepared for the double teams. He only got credit for four assists. Team recovered well from referee decision at Boise. Finish strong just as Muoka has gotten stronger, did you see Igovela (sp) shooting a three pointer. It was great to see Hamm and Muoka on the floor together. Last take away, if the other team is as short as us, they are in trouble.
