Seagers - Needs to push it and be a point guard. Ill advised 3's are not going to cut it. I do not agree with pulling a guy and benching him if he makes a mistake. That does not bode well for confidence. He can get to the basket and does have offense. He just needs to remember that he is not in the top 3 choices. Zim, Pat, Jones, Carter and then Him. He is number 5. That is what a point guard does, distributes. But if we are going to go all rebuild this year, put in Poyser and let him get the experience.

Pat - Best player on the team, both defense and has offense. He is our Number 2 option for scoring after Big Zimm. He can take almost anybody off the dribble. After they all collapse on you, kick it to the open 3. Then box out. Still our #2 option.

Jones - Potential to go to the NBA, needs time on the court and is someone who can create his own shot. Defense was good last night no bad fouls, kept his hands to himself. Had some nice blocks and Rice sat him. Odd. Also just awesome to see play (when he plays, last night he had great blocks - no offense). No plays called for him...the guy can fly but we don't want to use him? Our number 3 scoring option.

Carter - Does the dirty work. Deserves to start. Can score and the only guy who can take charges break a leg and walk it off and keep playing. Hit a nice jumper and just a great all around player. Needs to start. Number 5 scoring option and will clean up the boards.

Zimm - Guy is going pro. Needs to make his presence felt on the court. Those drives to the basket were awesome, until he missed. That will come, but don't stop. He is option #1. Option #2, Option #3. He is there to score for us. Zimm read this and know that we want you to dominate the guy. It is OK. We know you are nice, but destroy these guys and let the other teams fear you.

I go with the Freshman. A clear message has to be sent to Seagears. See how he responds coming off the bench

I thought it was a mistake to play Doolin so much last year when we knew the season was over. If the 5 year Vet isn't going to play his heart out for the love of the game, let Poyser in.

I like the idea of Poyser getting more time. Cook is also going to be re-evaluated after non conference is over and might be available for league play.
