Coach Otz must be working overtime as he offered 2020 6’6” SF Devin Tillis from Windward Prep in LA. He’s a hot commodity on the recruiting trail as he received a D2 offer from Cal State Dominguez Hills on Dec. 14. He also has offers from the powerhouse school of Western Oregon (not the Ducks) and Point Loma Nazzerine. It’s so nice to see he is going after “elite” talent. Hopefully we can beat out these D2 schools. What a joke. And we’re supposed to be excited about the future. How many D1 schools are there in California? ZERO schools offered this kid but we do. I thought it was a joke when we beat out Elon for Brown. Now we will have to beat out Western Oregon. As recruiting goes, now shitty D1 schools will offer him in the next month and some fans will say Otz is a genius for getting the offer out there first because he has an “elite” eye for talent. For every one player that pans out, there are 100 of them that are a complete bust. Not the odds I want to see.
