Just wondered if anyone knows anything because I have not seen him on the list for UNLV.

Nothing really out there. Looks like the kid flew under the radar. Looked at 3 sights and oddly enough he is listed anywhere from 6'0 to 6'2 and 275 to 290 lbs. Really not sure his connection with the staff.

He is an offensive lineman. Most likely a center or guard.

thanks forgot about the thread, but really never found anything that said he had an offer from UNLV, and was just trying to get more info. We had a couple of players during this last recruiting season that said they had offers and had accepted from UNLV, but had really never received any offers.

Most likely those are kids that may have gotten preferred walk on status. There is one kid Duke Brunke that went so far as to do the whole signing thing day at this high school with a couple of other kids. From what I can find he never did actually get a scholarship offer but his twitter page has him coming to UNLV. Maybe he is just going to try and walk on???

Oishi plays OG I think and he might have been a kid that was being recruited while the staff were at previous stops. Possible he had grade issues or maybe the he got lost in the shuffle. Rebels didn't have any scholarships left so gave him a preferred walk on status thinking he could make the team.
