So if the standings remain the same at end of season, would we end up playing SDSU after the first round by regardless of who wins in the first round? We likely have to face SDSU at some point so having it be the first game doesn’t bother me too much. Gives the team time to prepare and focus solely on the Aztecs. Of course same holds true for SDSU but UNLV has been owned by SDSU and our team definitely has the motivation of years of ass-kickings to avenge. Major downside to playing SDSU first is it doesn’t give UNLV the opportunity to add more wins and build momentum into a possible championship game where anything can happen. Could impact selection for an NIT bid if we were to lose our first game.

That doesn't seems right.

Was watching SDSU-BSU last night. Crazy ending. Thought the Broncos were cooked with Bradley going to the line with 7 seconds left for SDSU and a 1 pt lead. Dude shoots 80% FT and clanked both of them. Kigab then hits two FT's with 1.7 left for the BSU win. Broncos are 7th-worst FT shooting team in D1 (at one point they were absolute last). It's been their Achilles Heel all season. Anyhow, that was probably the only time I saw Dutcher and he wasn't wearing that smug look on his face like he always does, like he knows they're gonna win but you just don't know it yet. Makes me want to punch him.

Even above Alford, Brian Dutcher has the most punchable face in the Mountain West. He just looks like a guy who would try to goad you into punching him and then file a police report seeking battery charges...

I have that feeling about all opposing coaches in the mountain West.
