Both of our daily newspapers have features suggesting that Morgan is finding his way, and is likely to take a big step forward.

A few games ago, he took a few bad shots, and was criticized a lot on this board. My comment was that he just needed to learn his role. In the last couple of games, he seems to have done so, showing more confidence and driving to the basket. According to the articles, he studies film a lot, and now seems to get it.

As an aside, I think it's a little weird that both papers run essentially the same article about the same player, even using some of the same quotes.

i am so down on the program right now as soon as i saw a topic named morgan i thought i was going to see transfer. coach rice needs to find a way to have these top 100 players stick around for more than 1 season. its not like they are going to the nba either, only AB has done that out of all the guys leaving the program. i am afraid we just keep going in a crappy circle and the top players will soon dry up if he doesn't figure it out.

this thread was about transfers right?

watching Morgan make his moves to the basket is nuts. i can't remember anyone i've seen being that fast. maybe he travels everytime, i don't know, but what i do know is that it's fast.

he will be unguardable if he can get under control and develop a pull up jumper.

With his speed and length has ability to be a lock down defender as well. Think he will be a top player in the MWC before his career done at UNLV.

so he will be unguardable when he figures out how to play the game of basketball? that probably goes for all of the roster. the problem with morgan is he was highly ranked and one of the best at his position but it was based upon speculation. He is probably the most raw when it comes to having basketball skills.

Lol, Cornish is taking Kendrick's minutes the rest of the year.

McCaw is gaining valuable experience subbing for Vaughn and Doolin.

If we go far (counting chickens) the people want to keep them. If we suck, people will want to see them replaced.

Morgan is gonna be levelheaded. His trainer didn't teach him to quit and transfer. He's gonna be around quite awhile..
