Without EML, not surprised with the result. Was very disappointed with prep and execution, but effort and focus were there. I’d have rather lost by 4 points where both teams brought their respective A or B game. Instead of a slopfest of indecision, confusion and ineffectiveness by both sides. EML made a difference. But we played better at times without EML than we played today. Some players dogged. Or A player did. Enough to hurt us.

On the bright side, we are better in February than in November. Eye test wish, growth wise, stability, we are better this year than last. Support? Can’t tell yet really, will have to see next year. Started off worse than last year and flatlined for quite some time before improving, but even at tip top, support was low.

You all know I’m not big on our recruiting but I want to wait until the dust settles. Still going to be a lot of changes, so I’ll wait and see. Future is bright, coaching is great, I’m still going to wait and see. I like a lot, some I don’t. The poaching/extension stuff made me chuckle. Let’s do something first, then worry about it. Even for all the good we felt, it was still 17-15 with who knows how many home losses.

Not pumped, not dismayed, just waiting to see how things develop. I’m not sold either way because there’s not enough evidence. Next year will say a lot. Stagnating with what we accomplished this season would hurt. Need to take a step or two higher next season.
