I didn't know he was the new coach at Missouri - Kansas City. ( In fact, I didn't know there even was a Missouri - Kansas City ). Currently 6th in the Summit League.

I have actually been to the Missouri kc hoop home. Think a big rec center like many big newer high schools have with around 4 basketball courts. Curtians can come down around the home court like you would see in a aau game and modest area for seating. Like around 1000.
Big time it is not. But in a metro area there are overlooked recruits that want to stay in the area and you can field a decent team to compete in the lower d1 conferences. Also Kansas junior colleges have talent.

Didn’t a former Spoon assistant at UNLV go there as a head coach too, Derek Thomas or something like that?
I thought Derek ended up in Illinois somewhere. Western Illinois maybe? And I think Jay Spoon ended up at Eastern Illinois.
Jay was at Eastern Illinois for 10 years. Got fired last year. Doesn't appear he's coaching anywhere this year.
Yes, you are right Thomas went to WIU. He went to college at UM-St Louis. I think there was someone tht used to post here thst maybe coached with him somewhere or played with him assuming he played at UMSL?
