I know he jury is still out, but I am actually (cautiously of course) optimistic. These are obviously based on past success as well so I get that, but I think we finish a little higher. I'm normally pretty critical so that makes me tell myself as I have a slightly different outlook than the norm that we do okay this season.
Let see if they crush my hopes again lol

I am every year pretty much. And they usually smash that before September ends. It’s better than teasing and blowing it down the stretch, I guess. Not really.

UNLV, purportedly having had some recruiting success during the current regime, is entering year three of the Arroyo Era and poised to make a move. UNR, on the other hand, was pillaged and burned after last season ended and is starting over. However, the media votes UNR to finish ahead of UNLV. That just goes to show that tradition is not dead in CFB.

College football writers/media are pretty lazy with their yearly predictions in my opinion. Usually just look at returning starters and whatever stars are returning and that's about it... lazy journalism.
