Marquis Wimberly 1st game tape

Hines was my favorite WR of all time (I know it's sacreligious to like him more than Swann and Stallworth). His crack back blocks were a thing of beauty! When the defender got up and cried about it I knew Hines was in his dome.
Even worse was when Hines would get blasted and a big smile was on his face.. That drove defenders mad!!! (Especially LB's from Cincy)

Totally off topic now but do you think he is a Hall of Famer? Tough call I would love to see him make it and he does have some good things on his resume. SuperBowl MVP, two time SuperBowl winner, a couple of pro bowls. Just not sure his overall numbers especially in this day and age of football where 1000 yard receiving seasons are the norm are enough.

My heart says "of course" but, like you, I have serious doubts that he'll get the votes. Was he top five throughout his career at his position? It's arguable that he isn't. In my head it's similar to Shawn Marion. Played well and was very respected but maybe a Steelers' fan sentimental HOF'er only. I think Troy is in and I don't think it will be close. He truly impacted the game.
