We are most definitely headed for some more lock-downs. I've been so excited for the basketball season and seeing us play UNC in 2 1/2 weeks. I don't know if this season is going to make it...its not looking good for bball or

If the Biden administration can pay people money to stay home, then maybe we might have a 2-4 week lockdown after January but who knows. Will games be canceled? I really wish that sports was still the place we could go without being subject to politics or virtue signaling. That ship has clearly sailed.

That being said, I think we are headed for an abbreviated season. Yeah, it stinks but that's the reality. I know from personal experience that this virus is dangerous and young people can both become quite ill and spread it to others. A good portion of my family became ill, my young daughter has lost her sense of taste, possibly forever, and I lost an aunt last week. The source was a 17 year old "asymptomatic" girl who was supposedly quarantining prior to causing at least 6 cases.

I hope the season can be played, at least in part. I hope that "normal" can be a thing again and I'm sure it will at some point. UNLV is showing signs of life yet again with a #14 2021 recruiting class. They need to be good to complete with VGK, the Raiders etc. I want to support them and go to their games, but when the time is right.

The governors closure was for 21 days from a few days ago. As far as sports go, I don’t know if she closed down college sports or not. It appears from your comment that she did not.
