I know I wrote about the loss of sports, but I can also see what it is doing to the economy in Las Vegas, and the number of people who are losing their jobs, and hope this virus runs its course quickly so we can get back to living and enjoying our lives again!
This will run it's course. The bug will start going down in mid spring and be gone by summer in Vegas. The media hype is aggravating the entire issue. In 2009 we lost 10,000 to H1N1. This needs to be kept in perspective. The 2 issues are death rate and virulence. The death rate is higher this round but the virulence is lower. It will not return next year (RAND).
A million people died from second hand smoke last year. Yet we still allow smokers to cozy up to a blackjack table. It’s almost funny

This is wear Boy Scouts comes in handy and a childhood of actually doing things instead of internetting. I can fish, hunt, clean and cook and I can make clean water. And make a fire. And stuff like that.
People should always have a two week supply of essentials on hand at all times anyway.
