Wasn't overly productive at Illinois, but could add needed depth. Maybe the defense there wasn't a great fit.

He was recruited as a 3* athlete.

Ended up at linebacker.

I think could add immediate depth to special teams and possibly be used as a rush end. Good athlete.

I read some articles that say he really came on last year and was a solid backup. He came out of high school as a 3* player with a lot of potential. I think he would be a solid pick up that would provide depth to a D that could use the help.

He has put on around 40lbs since HS. Was listed as an 'Athlete' at the time. I agree he provides depth at linebacker and could push for a starting spot. Also curious if he might get a look at DE on passing downs. Give us a little speed off the edge?
