Regardless of whatever personal enmity u may hold towards her, i think what was done was smart on her part. Many people (Myself included) didn't like the idea of Howland as coach, but if anything it showed that UNLV is a very coveted position. Again, your personal feelings of angst aside for BH, a coach like him would be considerable upgrade for many schools and a resume like his doesn't present itself everyday. It turned out to be nothing, but i think her message was clear. Yes, we extended u and we believe in u, but don't EVER get complacent and think u are safe after a season like this one.
