Juwan howard says no to time out..throws punch.. Wild really..pretty good shot ..curious if gets booted from coaching

Don't boot him. It's a teaching moment for all parties. You learn action can have consequence and we are all accountable. Should YOU be defined as a person by your worst moments (public or private)?

The fact that Michigan has had a disappointing season won't have anything to do with it. Uh...hem...

I hold him to the same standard that I would hold anyone to who works in the private industry. If you punch someone in an office, store, restaurant, you would automatically be fired, and very likely have assault charges brought against you. He is an adult making in excess of $3 million a year and is allowed to act like a teenage thug when he doesn't get his way? If you haven't learned that you can't assault another person when you don't win an argument by the age of 48, that lesson will never be learned. What do you think would happen if an employee in that same arena who sells popcorn or sodas walked up to coach Howard and punched him in the face? If you want an example of this type of behavior, you need to go back and look at the crap they allowed Bobby Knight to get away with for decades just because he was winning. and nothing happened until the lawsuits started to pile up!

Suspended for the remainder of the regular season. Assuming he is allowed to coach in the Big10 Tourney, its a 5 game suspension.
This works. But since he seems to have anger management issues, he'd have to be gone if it happened again.

I wonder what Krabbenhoft said that prompted Juwan to throw a hand at him, not that it justifies it. Juwan can be pissed about the timeout call with the game in-hand, but his complaint doesn't hold up since he was pressing. Wiscy coach had to setup his scrubs and get the 10-second reset. It's just coaching.

He’s going to hear whispers here on out, he’s gotta toughen up.

Listened to a Howard interview this A.M. He was pissed about the time out call. Told the opposing coach he'd "remember" that in the future and wouldn't shake hands. ( rest from vid) Opposing coach reached out and took ahold of Howards arm. Howard put finger in opposing coaches face and pointed in his chest. Row started. Howard was pulled away by players and coaches. @ 15 seconds later Howard took a shot at the opposing coach and grazed his face. Wiscy was the first to touch Howard, but there was a lengthy period before Howard took a swing.

I bet 2 game suspension.

5 game suspension plus $40,000 fine for Howard. Two Michigan players and one Wisconsin player suspended for one game and Wisconsin coach fined $10,000.

There is still time to file assault charges against him! Maybe the person he punched should consider going after his big fat contract money?

im guessing no one on the staff at Wisconsin including the coach that took the slap to the head is thinking this. I’m not justifying what happened but it was heat of the moment during a sporting event with no injuries, it was dealt with and now it’s over.

Wisconsin Coached should have been suspended also. At least 1 to 2 games. Not justifying Howards actions but I was taught in Elementary and from my parents dont put your hands on people because that normally leads to bad things. But grabbing arms/pushing arms when someone is mad not a big deal. Definitely lessons to be learned from both camps.
