Why is everyone acting like it’s a done deal!!?- including media, RJ,…. At least ESPN admits it’s not signed. I’m not missing something am I??
Oh, I get it… it was a pinky promise

Ok, some ‘things to get worked out’ … you know what that means…
His Agent is fielding calls from SEC teams that just saw the news and were like - Wait, wait, WTF… we didn't even think he would want to coach again. Let’s give him a call and make an offer.

Just saying no SEC team has an opening for HC. They all knew he wanted back into coaching.

it’s a really good point certainly worth noting. UNLV has been played before. I don’t think that’s the case this time around, but to act like it’s not a possibility would be foolish

Just take a look at the past idiots we had as the AD's, both happen to be female, and compare them to the current AD!

The miss step would be Joe ‘leaking’ the NOT really confirmed hire on X…Then Joe calls into scoop… and they run with it and quote Joe as the source…. Then ESPN runs with it, but has enough sense to make sure and note ‘ it’s in talks,…nothing signed and they quote scoop at the end as the source.
Harper would have little to do with all that…
Not like you can say we aren’t in negotiations

I mean Odom could have written his own ticket (to a degree of course), but I’m not 100% that any deal that got done would have accomplished as much as it SOUNDS like this deal may have done to elevate the program…?

I also don’t think a new contract for Odom would have created any new excitement like this one is doing.

That's crazy talk. If that's the case he has the worst agent known to mankind. Must have been a UNR law grad...oh, wait. They don't have a law school.
