Just WOW, TJ Otz has crisscrossed the country recruiting and building championship teams, did I miss something this past year or what, maybe I am dreaming.
I can say this was the least talented UNLV team and basically Un-Watchable Team, I should know I watched games that ended around 12-1AM back in MD.
I wish him well, but I am glad he's gone, my question how many assistants go with him to ISU, that will tell a lot to me, because basically recruiting and roster construction STUNK.
DRF has to get off her ass, and get coach in within a week, for the new coach can get staff and assemble a recruiting class.
I keep Blake/Tillis as Freshman class and tell the rest we thank you, a Rebel for life, but you need to continue your career at Dixie State or somewhere like that.
Keep Diong, just to have him as stop gap at C
I believe we will get coach who can get PG/guys who can create, am I asking to much here? So in that scenario:
I keep Wood and Grill.
With right coach keep Jenkins, but not huge necessary.
Hamilton, go pro and wish him well.
Need to get at least 3-4 grad transfers, then maybe get 2 of them who sit out and play in 2 years, next year is a bridge year, this year stunk so what, your building for the future.
There is no reason within 2 years UNLV can compete top 3, it's basketball, Tark said he wanted 8 guys and the rest get good grades and practice and clap during the game.
