100% it is a trap game.
UNLV has a real chance of winning. It probably doesn't happen, but it certainly can.
Their coach is talking up UNLV, but it may be difficult to get the team up for playing UNLV. Now they did have some trouble with UCD, so that may have gotten their attention too.

Please believe that they have next week circled. This is more than a "paycheck game " for them. I don't know if we will have their full attention this week. I think it's their first meeting in 22 years and they expect to be competitive with ND. Hopefully we can "Scare the crap out of them 😬.

I think so too. Had they dismantled Davis 68-3, I think it would be more of a trap game. But that they were tested by a woeful team, I’m guessing they got a reality check.
Yeah and they are usually the same ones the Win the NCAA Tourney Office pools! SMH
I'm not sure how woeful UC Davis is? They were preseason top 20 coming off a playoff appearance last season. Given Cal's style of play the game was about how I expected it. Cal never wasnt in control and won by 3 TD's. only giving up 13 points. They were up by 10 at the half and never looked back. Im not saying UCD is Georgia but probably a good opener for Cal against a decent FCS opponent.
