yeah Nail in the coffin for me. It's doneWell he checks one of the boxes, he is a HC! Lol
This is only marginally better than hiring Hartman. Time to drop the basketball program so none of us have to suffer any longer.
Should of just kept Kruger for 1 more season if this was going to be the hireI'm willing to give it a chance but man a lot harder to be excited about this than Hodgson, Olen, Bucky, etc etc etc
No I think I would do bad things if I had to watch another season of Kruger Ball in the Mack, I can be delusional about this next semester at least lolShould of just kept Kruger for 1 more season if this was going to be the hire
Yeah, it will be no different here eitherJosh Pastner was an underachiever at Memphis and Georgia Tech.
That was like 12 years ago though.Actually, Paster is the 2nd fastest coach to 100 wins in Memphis history and they have had some good coaches in Calipari Dana Kirk ect.
Also with a loaded roster that was built for him lolThat was like 12 years ago though.
It’s not like he is 74. He is 47.That was like 12 years ago though.
So reaching 20 wins 1 time... glad we lit 2.35 million on fire for thatWorst case scenario is he does exactly what he did at Georgia Tech... Best case somewhere between that and Memphis.
Should've poured everything we had into football until we got a good conference deal that would let us actually offer something for a decent coach. I don't see us doing any better next year than we would have under CKK. Probably worse even with a weaker conference. So reaching 20 wins 1 time... glad we lit 2.35 million on fire for that
Nah, there's worse...
The worry is at Memphis he dropped off after starting well with Cal’s left overs. Georgia Tech is a tough job and he put together their best two years in the last 20 since Hewitt had a good NCAA run in the early 2000’s even then he Hewitt never finished higher in the ACC than Pastner’s solo fourth in arguably a larger ACC. You have to go back to Cremins in the 90’s to top that finish.Josh Pastner was an underachiever at Memphis and Georgia Tech.
That's a good comparisonYet another coach known as a recruiter without much of a system... sigh.
But this is still an upgrade. I would rather had Olen or the UAB guy, was that enamored with Bucky Ball.
This feels kinda like Pitino Jr. Which turned out decent for the Lobos.
Good comparison and I had similar thoughts. Georgia Tech is the Minnesota or Northwestern of the ACC. Tough job in a Brutal conference.Yet another coach known as a recruiter without much of a system... sigh.

Nah he did not have a HALL OF FAME HC for a dad showing him the ropes. BIG difference. That's a good comparison
No.Should of just kept Kruger for 1 more season if this was going to be the hire
