if they do end up getting rid of Rice, it will be a very sad and disappointing day for me. i look at him and believe he is as Rebel as there is, #3 in my book (Tark, Augmon, then Rice).
in my eyes:
he is a good person.
he is not pompous or arrogant.
he is loyal (to a fault).
he is somehow composed.
he wants to win (i guarantee more than any of us do).
he is coming up short, but not because of effort.
i was ready to strangle him, but only after he got fired (mid-game) with about 10 minutes left. after calming down, i realized that these debacles are more devastating than ever because i want him to succeed more than any other post-Tark coach. i want him to be here for 25 more years and i want success. the problem is i just don't think it'll ever happen.
