pieces moving forward, as in next season. To me, this season isn't about winning and losing as much as it is as watching for a foundation which includes demeanor, style, accountability, recruiting, etc - things that impact the bottom line in the future.

As such, yeah, I do like SOME of the pieces moving forward. I'm assuming we will have Tillman (NBA dream appears to be a joke), Hardy, Diong, Hamilton, Antonio as a role guy, incoming Jenkins and Blake. The rest of the recruiting class and incoming transfers (Wood) along with bench players not mentioned aren't going to be high impact - or if they are, we are in trouble.

So there are some pieces to be competitive within the MWC. Recruiting... I don't know who is playing PG, it would be a disservice to everyone for Hardy to be the PG as a senior, I feel it's similar to Marshall being PG - you need him on the floor, but don't need him running the show. It'd be "serviceable" but takes away from what you can do as a team and what the kid can do in the right position. But we need another shooter. And another serviceable big. That hasn't been addressed by recruiting and that part worries me - because after next year, we are losing ALOT.... maybe that's his plan for when he gets the right guys, but to me, it doesn't look like those right guys will be here next season either. I could be wrong, we have to see but certain stuff isn't adding up.

Style wise, it's been disappointing for me because this CAN'T be what he envisions from an offensive standpoint. It's a bullshit dribble it and shoot it when you want offense, much like MM, the problem is, and was with Marv, is that it won't work unless you have shooters AND players that can actually make plays (we have one, Hardy). So I'd expect a more system based offense that frees guys by design rather than instinct.
