watched a lot of video on him, some of his coaching, press conferences, etc.. Seems like a Tark type coach... everything in the guy's head is basketball... this guy is for real imo.
All that said, it's a miss as far as selling tickets for next season. This is a hire that would've been great 3 years ago. At this point, it's a good hire, because he appears to be a really good fit and the type of coach we're going to really like... but the hype won't be there initially... that's the downside.
What TJ can do between here and the season is a lot community work (boosters, fans, etc...) and recruit a couple guys that will excite the fan base.
All you writing him off, for whatever reason, at least give the guy a season.
