a garbage shift tonight because of so many sick people at work. Working midnight until who knows what time really sucks (when you are used to 5 am until 3 pm). Making it worse, when I get home, I gotta take care of the kiddos and my girl works until 10 pm. So it's going to be many hours straight awake for me.
But it's easier than watching what I saw earlier tonight. My night is going to be a cakewalk.
Don't know about the rest of you, but we've hit a point in the last couple of seasons where it becomes like a bad relationship that you stay in for convenience. You get in a fight, it really doesn't matter all that much because you do it all the time and they seem all the same. You have a couple of good nights, you don't put too much stock into it because you know the relationship sucks.
I wish I had strong faith that this is going to get better soon. I think the season can but the long term has me a bit dismayed. For every 5 year/30 million dollar coach out there there's a dozen at the other end of the spectrum. I seriously cannot see this school having the strength, fortitude and resources to lift the programs up with proper decisions and support. I'm going to keep hoping but I really expect things to stay difficult.
