While unr may have played a decent game against smu compared to last year, just one look at the attendance says a lot about the standing of their football program. Only 20.263 fans showed up for what is most likely the best home game they will play this season. From the past decaded unr attendance drops off quickly as the season moves along, unr has been on a mostly steady decline for about 25K in 2013 to a low of 14905 in 2022 with a bump in 2023 back up to 16998. If unr has another bad season like last year, my expectation is that they will finish the season with attendance down again. Considering they has an attendance of 24,578 for the UNLV home game, I can see them back down to around 15K this next season.

Quote by Coach Odom in today's press conference about wanting MWC teams to win OOC.

"There were 3 Mountain West teams who played last week, and I was cheering for 2 of them."

What a quote.
Gee, I wonder who was the one loner?:p
