This is an observation that I don't think has been discussed and I don't ever recall ever seeing four High D-1 starters transferring into the MWC and playing for the same team. First you have Elijah Harkless (2 year starter at Oklahoma), Elijah Parkuet (2 year starter at Colorado) and Luis Rodriguez (2 year starter at Ole Miss). Also, IMO I feel Rodriguez was signed early instead of a freshmen wing by CKK just in case D Williams didn't come back. Then you have Isaiah Cottrell who started 28/33 games for West Virginia. Additionally, both Harkless and Parkuet were starters on NCAA tournament teams. More anecdotal than anything else, I looked at Mitro-Long and his progression as a player playing in a low major conference at Mount St. Mary's where his FG% as a sophomore was 41.2% and there was a big drop in FG% to 33.8* when he moves on to Texas in the Big 12 as a red shirt junior. However, his FG% jumped to 46.1% in the MWC as a red shirt senior.
