Houston-hope for Unlv

Houston has a lot of thing like Unlv. An awsome team that did not bring home the title. Forcing out a legendary coach before they should have. School located in a major metro area with talent right there. Decades of apathy after being at the top.

They take a coach of what some termed a cheater, some termed a failure(at Indiana). And here they are in the final four.

Unlv has the same or greater potential.

We just need a Kelvin Samposon or Fertitta money. Not sure if we have either.

You can call Kelvin a “cheater” but you can’t really say he’s a failure. The guy just wins. His violations are minimal compared to what’s going on at the Arizona’s of the basketball world. Congrats to Houston for taking the risk and now here they are finally back in the final 4. I’ve wanted UNLV to make a “Sampson” type hire the last few cycles but I know it’s too risky for our administration. I think we have some good things going with CKK so I do feel much better about where we are at now vs MM and TJ but I’m not sure if we’ll be celebrating another final 4 anytime soon.
