The level of “not important” this has sunk to.
I knew the Rebels had a game on Sunday and that it was against a bad, bad team, SJSU. I just automatically assumed it was tonight.
I handle the kids 24-7 on the weekends and I always do something with them, get them out of the house, it doesn’t really matter where. Bowling, movie, a park, lake or river, I just stay active with them.
So I took them to Michoacán for lunch and I planned on letting them jack around at Kids’ Quest for a couple of hours. I don’t know a lot about the place (I can tell you now that I don’t not being able to stay inside, but I get it, the casino wants you at the tables or slots). But as we wrap up lunch at 1230, I get a tip-off at 1pm notification.
Not a big deal. I have my iPad and iPhone with me in the car anyway, there’s wifi at the casino, plus there’s the sports book. So it didn’t stop me from watching the game (currently tied at 19). But that it didn’t real dawn on me, that a light of some sort didn’t go off?
