Hamilton

They REALLY missed Donovan Williams. Hamilton can’t seem to remember there are four teammates on the floor.

Nice win at home against Reno but I see Bryce’s volume shooting returned with a vengeance!

He finally beat Reno at home.

That was a terrible losing streak we had with them.

Thank goodness. Bryce carried the team at the crucal time.
The entire last half of the game he had a brutal double team on him. He had a tough time scoring and even found it hard to pass out of. I think that will be a plan for teams going forward so CKK needs to work on getting Williams the ball when B Ham is doubled.

Nuga is the key. If Nuga can be a third option or Webster, it will be tough for team to continuously double team BHam like last night.

When Hamm came up to the top of the key for the pick and roll the guy on him just doubled Hamilton. It was tough for Hamilton to make the pass. Then Hamm stopped coming up l for the pick and Hamilton made the guy guarding him look silly. It was a good adjustment when the Rebels finally made it.

I love analysis like this! (Being very serious, by the way).

We don’t have the horses yet to compete with the best that our league has to offer. However, we do have a coach who knows the nuances of the game. That is part of my optimism.

He’s hard to watch.

not a big fan of his game anymore.
Actually, I change my mind. He’s been very fun to watch. Can score at every range. I hope we keep feeding him the ball.

if Hamilton and Williams is not playing and we are playing against a good team. How many points do we score? Where do the points come from?

Playing without Williams is hurting. He took pressure off Bryce.
Second leading Rebel scorer. Number 7 MWC conference scorer.
And, had been improving.

Agreed. Tough to win on the road without DW, especially against a well coached team like USU. Hoping we are at 100% for the MWC.

When Bryce was on the bench, our team fell apart. It was THAT ugly…

BHam seems to be reaching a level where the college game is becoming easily manageable for him such that averaging 21 per game comes without max effort. It could be the level of competition; we’ll see how he does against Boise, etc., but he is playing at a very high level right now.
it was noted on yesterday’s radio broadcast that he has another year of eligibility if he wants it. Is that correct? Extra COVID year??

BHam should go and make $$. There is nothing more that he need to proves at this level. Unless, of course, he want to come back.

Hamilton is what he is, volume scorer, if he went to the line he average at least 25 or more, it's not like the MWC Refs don't like calling fouls.
Without Williams it's tough for UNLV, but last night they had 4 or 5 guys score in double figures, and out rebounded AF 40-18 after getting out rebounded by them, all effort and being ready to play.
BSU is not great, they should win, but they had some really ugly games offensively, Hamilton has to score 30 or more if Williams is out to have a chance.

Las night he was triple teamed 75% of the time he was within 10 feet of the basket. That was the difference between him scoring in the 20's vs. the 30's.

As far as the line goes, he is fouled nearly every time he goes to the hole. He just doesn't get the call. The refs aren't giving him a call when he drives into a triple team.

I actually love his spin moves to the basket. Took him years to master, and it’s paying off.

Sometimes, he’ll get stripped or it’s a turnover but I’ve seen him finish with it at a high percentage rate.

I stopped watching the game with about 10 minutes to go. The damage was already done.

The guy is our best player but just think if he was efficient In most every game!
