This kid has some real potential. Hope he has a strong work ethic and ok with experienced D-1 players getting more time than him his freshman year.

He will carve out nice minutes with the 2nd team and will more than likely look good in those minutes against opponents 2nd team players.

I can see him coming in at center and creating mayhem for the opposing center trying to contain him from driving and picking the defense apart. At least that's what I hope happens.

This is what will happen IMO as well.

Playing Center is completely out of the question. He’ll get destroyed on defense and rebounding. If that’s the expectation then we are in big trouble.

You have to remember there are 245 lbs players with strength and muscle and then there are 245 lbs players who should be 220 and are not strong, just overweight.

Nah, haven’t seen him play. But I’m going to refrain from calling him an early impact player as some are thinking … glad we play some
