This matchup will be interesting with some underlying storylines. Durango and BG were big rivals when Laroque was coaching. Henry took over and they haven't ever come close to beating the giants on Hualipai. This game could be different. I don't think the player matchups are great for Durango but Chad Beeten is back at it. He wanted to win State and go thru these guys for years. Try and go to this game.

Faith Lutheran plays DP as well. This is the last playoff game run for Brett Walter at Faith. I may have misspelled that name. Anyway, Faith won't win this but they will play their ass off as well. Two interesting local stories here. Faith has a big hill to climb but this is their coaches last season I am told so they may come ready for war.

I think the losers of both games play each other for the play-in game of State. If so than both will get a second chance after this.

Prediction is Gorman wins a close game by 2-4 in OT but don't be shocked if they pull out the upset by a few points Beeten is a polarizing figure but I promise you the guy can coach as good as anyone in town and he wants to win this badly. I have never met or coached with a person who wanted to win as badly as him. I say that as a compliment. Chad will leave no stone unturned and watch film on everything.

Desert Pines wins by 12: Swift with 20 and 10. Uzan with close to a triple double tonight but misses barely in rebounds.
