Great game. But AZ’s PG is just too good, too quick for the Rebels.

One big run, heavy pressure, offensively aggressive. Lady Rebs battled hard. Big underdog on the road, with 5 minutes or so left, it was a bucket separation.

I had a great time. Watched the game with some guy named Jeff Gutierrez. He’s been calling Lady Rebel game since the 70’s. Was able to pick his brain a bit. Asked him if ELO ever performed in Vegas. He wasn’t sure but he saw Elvis perform TWICE!!

Want to talk about musically gifted. Those guys were insane. I know the show itself was great - but the writing, the arrangements … massively complex and amazing. And it’s not at all “my type of music” but man they were talented.

The one thing I will give the Lady Rebels is that they are a very young team, and almost the entire team comes back next year.

Congratulations to CLL and the lady rebels. They gave Arizona a great game and easily could have prevailed except for the disparity in turnovers, 19 to 7. Still a great year ending up 26 and 7.
