Full list of commits!

I have no clue, but it appears they me have passed the limit on commits? I wonder what they do if that has happened, which player do they not accept?

I am not sure, but one was listed as a priority walk on which means he doesn't get a scholarship for the first year, but gets one as soon as it is available in the future.

I assume we can take 25.
Up to 25 NEW per year. But, we had O lineman go into the transfer portal who's scholarship we can also use. And, Darren Williams I would think would not be coming back for football. As a senior he can probably go on some type of academic scholarship to finish out the year as I can't imagine the doctors would let him back on the field again. So that would be another scholarship available. As long as we don't exceed 85 total is my understanding.

Joe Arrigo posted this about 40 minutes ago. But, he is wrong when he says we have 2 of the top 10. It's actually 3 of the top 10.

Brennon Scott: comes in at #3
Edric Whitley: comes in at #8
LeShaun Bell: comes in at #10

#UNLVfb fans, here is a crazy stat: With
@Edric_Whitley
and
@goliveB
committing to
@coacharroyo
, he already has 2 of the Top 10 rated players coming out of HS in UNLV history. This is his 1st recruiting class and only had a month to recruit.

It is only 25 a year, but early enrollees can count toward last year’s 25. Another possibility is to have a kid “greyshirt” which means waiting until next January to enroll and count towards next year’s class

You can also ad the highest ever rated player/transfer ever out of TCU Justin Rogers who is rated 0.9772, and a second TCU transfer Adam Plant 0.8666 who would also be in the top 10.

ADD in the two transfers from TCU and u have what 5 in the TOP 12

In my opinion I believe we have the number 1 recruiting class in the conference.

He has done a great job reporting, and he is who I usually get my information from in regards to potential commits.

He's always been very good on the recruiting end of the gig from what I've seen. Definitely his thing.

The coaching stuff he was mostly good on actually as well. Turned out he had all of the staff right when they announced that first group. Obviously the big blunder was taking up Rittenberg on Aranda.

You want a cool trick.

Go on twitter.

Check who the coaches recent follows are...Are the players following back..

And bam!

You are a recruiting insider...

It's all pretty much out there to see anymore..

Edric WhitleyWeiss (Pflugerville, TX)
5-11 / 160
0.8924
357 28 54
Commit 2/2/2020

CB

He's now a 4*...

UNLV is now up to #68 (247). As for the twitter trick, I have been doing that for a long time, even with the permanent ban by the twitter idiot Jack.

I did notice that Rivals still has not included Edric in the commit list. If he is a 4* on Rivals, that could jump UNLV up a long ways and maybe even first in the MWC.

For sure...

Wow! bumped to a 4* AFTER committing to UNLV. I would have expected them to give him a bump if he chose Miami or Ole Miss. 247 showing respect for Whitley.
247Sports has him back to a 3* and lowered his rating. Somebody there screwed up.

I don't think Arrigo did that, in-fact some recruits were tagging him in their pictures and Arroyo was liking what he was tweeting. He also had the coaches before Anderson or anyone.

I really like Tyson Player. I think the kid is right there with Edrick Whitley. Not as flashy but he’ll get it done.

Did I say that he did that..?

I pointed out that it is pretty easy to find who coaches are targeting. And if the interest might be reciprocal.

He did have it right on the assistants, nobody questioned that. He has also been solid on recruiting. It's been said here numerous times.

However..

Anderson broke the Arroyo coaching news.

And he has a fair amount of misses as well.
