UNLV didn't have much luck with a lower division coach running the program, so not sure how much better Fresno will do with a past head coach that has had 1 season at a bad USC team as an assistant.
I think that the difference is the support of the Administration. We see how important Harper is.
I think that Odom is the best thing to happen to us since Tark but having administrative support in football matters a lot!
A great AD and President is really important. UNLV hit a grand slam with these two and coach Odom working together as a team.
Don’t necessarily need a great president. A president that stays out of the way and lets the AD do their job is good enough. A non-Harter, a non-Smatresk, a non-Ashley, a non-Messup Jessup.
This is fairly funny. Spoiled fans at NDSU were ready to throw him out of town a year ago and he took linebacker job at USC who had a bad defense.
At ndsu his offense was running 85% of the time. Boring and did not work vs good teams.
We will see how he does, but I would not be worried about Fresno becoming strong like they were under coach Pat Hill.

By the time they rebuild it wont matter to us anyways... Hope they become another terrible banner program for the Pac 12...
Look at the history of UNLV Presidents and all you see is ones that didn't nothing positive for the athletic department, the current President is an exception.
The best thing about the Temu<enter number> and the fans of those schools is they are still calling it the Conference of Champions....what's this now?

Maybe if they keep acting like there's no difference in the two PACs, others will follow. 🤣
I was with you on Entz over Arroyo. He may not have been my first choice, but I wanted a defensive minded coach. Super happy with how things turned out. I'd even say it was worth the years of pain for these two seasons of glory.
