One of my good friends played for UNLV and is currently an assistant coach, we've been talking about who to hire for the past couple months. Its kinda funny because he's been talking about Chris Beard for months. He has no ties to him and it isn't a bias opinion. He said the dude can straight up coach and his guys would run through a wall for him. So when Beard was hired he hit me up and said awesome get outside of Pitino he's the best coach UNLV could have got not Underwood, not Cronin, not Martin, not Lavin, not Menzies. Just nice to hear former rebels supporting the hire and at the end of the day i think Beard will be a great hire for us.
